You are invited to visit the European Center Golf Club, an ideal place for spending time outdoors in a meaningful way, to enjoy the pleasure of playing golf and to get acquainted with people that you will find interesting to you. Families or groups of people holding the same views can play there. Professional instructors will share knowledge with beginners and advanced players, they will reveal all the subtleties of golf, give advice and instruct privately. The Club is paying particular attention to providing every visitor with all the necessary gear, services and advice, and, most importantly, to ensuring that they spend their leisure in the most memorable way.


The golf course of the European Center Golf Club borders on Lake Girija, whose beauty reveals itself at holes 9 and 18. The course surrounds the geographical centre of Europe that was established in 1989 by the scientists of the French National Institute of Geography. They produced the definition of Europe’s geographical centre and with the method of gravitation centres proved that the continent’s geographic centre is in Lithuania, north of Vilnius, in the vicinity of Purnuškės village. The fact is recorded in the Guinness Book of Records.
Another unique feature of the course is the proximity of objects of cultural and historical heritage of the area, i.e. a mound, an alka (a place of pagan sacrifice) hill, and the oak grove planted in 2000 to commemorate the land reform. One of the famous geodetic stations of the arc of the meridian has been identified in the vicinity of the area. Currently it is included in UNESCO World Heritage List.


The Course

The 18-hole golf course of the European Center it is created far away from the bustling city, in the vicinity of the geographical centre of Europe, just a 30-minute drive from the centre of Vilnius, in the 26th kilometre of Vilnius–Molėtai highway. The course meets international standards for golf courses.

The golf course of the European Center Golf Club is distinguished by its unique location, convenient communication and a landscape that ideally meets golfers’ needs. The course occupies an area of 83 hectares. The overall length of the course is 6600 m, which is it possible to play a round in 72 strokes. The course has been designed in such a manner that it would not be too difficult for beginners and would give an opportunity to master all the necessary skills. Professionals it is given an opportunity to play an extremely complex game, as numerous water hazards, such as Lake Girija, numerous natural ponds, channels and other natural obstacles do not let one lose his or her concentration for a second! The unique landscape of the course gives the players an opportunity to use all the clubs in the bag.

The European Center Golf Club is striving to join the PGA European Tour Courses and, in compliance with its standards, holds Lithuanian and international golf tournaments.
